Meet ELCA at Paysalia 2023
24-11-2023

From December 5th till 7th 2023, the next edition of the trade fair Paysalia will take place at Eurexpo Lyon. The European Landscape Contractors Association (ELCA) is, in cooperation with our French member association UNEP (l’Union Nationale des Entreprises du Paysage), present with a stand presentation. You can find the ELCA stand in Hall 4 with stand number H92.

At Paysalia, ELCA promotes the opportunity for landscape and gardening companies to join our ever growing network of green professionals all over Europe and in the world. This network, that is hosted by our Committee of Firms, offers clear benefits for the members on company level. Twice a year, for example, there are interesting professional excursions where participants can learn and exchange on innovative green projects and craftmanship in the hosting countries. By participating in EU-funded projects on vocational education, we work on the development of future-focused training programs for new students and workers. Within the network of the Committee of Firms, ELCA facilitates traineeships for students, workers and managers at companies in different European countries.

ELCA Green Award By presenting the ELCA Trend Award and the ELCA Green Award, we promote the innovative power of the sector and the role of the landscape and gardening professional by showcasing state of the art projects. On December 5th, the winner of the ELCA Green Award/Green Schoolyards will be announced during a festive ceremony. Dutch scientist dr. Jolanda Maas will explain, in an especially for ELCA pre-recorded session, the benefits of green schoolyards for children at primary schools and what the role of landscapers and gardeners can be in the design, creation and maintenance of green schoolyards. The award ceremony will take place at the Agora area in the Carré des Jardiniers (Hall 6) and start at 13.00 CET (till about 14.30 CET).

ELCA represents 23 national members and 3 associated members (Canada, Japan and United Kingdom). Besides being a network for landscape and gardening companies, our association is an important stakeholder for European institutions in political topics such as climate, biodiversity, public health and small and medium enterprises (sme-)affairs.
