From September 10th till 12th, 2025, the International Federation of Landscape Architects (IFLA) holds its World Congress in Nantes (France). ELCA, in cooperation with our French colleagues of Unep, will be present to represent the landscape garden sector at this unique event.
One of the highlights for ELCA during this Congress is taking part in a round table session on September 11th. Together with different experts, ELCA Secretary-General Egbert Roozen will discuss about the topic ‘Guiding Practice Evolution; new roles and standards for the landscape architects’. Egbert will link here to the implementation of the EU Nature Restoration Regulation, the cooperation between the different urban green professionals and the way we can enhance our guiding role by using our SoGreen Alliance platform. Other experts during this round table are Audry Timm (AIPH, International Association of Horticultural Producers), Florent Moreau (president of VALHOR), Joel Kurokawa (president of the Council of Landscape Architectural Registration Boards), Juliette Ols (chair for professional practices of FFP) and Kona Gray (president of the America Society of Landscape Architects).
