In memoriam: Bert Gijsberts

Bert Gijsberts, former president of our Dutch member association Koninklijke VHG, has passed away on January 16^th 2024.

On behalf of VHG, he was the Dutch representative in the ELCA Presidium between 2007 and 2012.

We remember Bert as an active and gentle person with warm involvement in the activities of our European association.

We wish his wife Helen, his children and grandchildren strength in this difficult moment.
